South Texas Stampede (STS) once again demonstrated its culinary prowess at the Texas Steaknado State Championship Steak Cookoff in Liberty, Texas, on December 16th. This sizzling event featured four thrilling turn-ins, where STS left an indelible mark with its remarkable performance.

A Storm of Success

STS set the cookoff ablaze, receiving an impressive total of 22 top-ten calls, showcasing their culinary finesse. The cherry on top was that three STS members secured their Golden Tickets to compete at the SCA World Championship in Fort Worth in March of 2024.

A Frame of Excellence

Before the awards began, the spotlight turned to Doug Homann, who was presented with a special gift from South Texas Stampede. It was a beautifully framed moment that captured Doug’s perfection—a perfect score he achieved in Junction City, Arkansas, just a week prior.
